We think about networking in terms of business, but it can also be important when you are thinking about things like learning a new skill or talent. Take some time to figure out who can help you and what kind of information they can provide you with. Sometimes, getting to talk to someone that has been doing precisely what you want to do can be inspiring and it can help you figure things out.
Take a moment to consider how you are going to prepare for success. Even if opportunity comes knocking, it does you no good if you are tied up with other things, aren’t strong enough to take advantage of it or don’t even hear it!
